Pioneering Inclusion Within The Lehigh Valley Photography Community

A few years ago, I was fortunate to join a handful of local photographers for a long afternoon photographing in an old bank vault in Allentown. This event set the stage for what would eventually turn into a photography group called Depict Collective.

Over the past few years, I have helped lead the group forward along with some amazing partnerships along the way. While life has pulled some members in different directions, a constant along the way has been the extremely talented Andrew Tomasino.

Getting the chance to work with likeminded individuals is extremely rewarding. Andrew and I shared a similar vision of what we want the group to be and provide those involved. A big key to that mission is a mindset of sharing, listening, and educating.

The most recent results of this joint venture comes from a session we planned at Queen City Studio where Andrew calls home. With a handful of photographers and models, we organized our groups most successful and professional event to date. Each person involved had the opportunity to share insight, learn from each other, and use/try tools they have yet to in an ego free environment.

While we have been running Depict Collective for a few years now, this definitely feels like a new beginning and I am so excited at the potential.
